The composer sets lines from Traherne’s poems The Salutation, My Spirit, On Leaping over the Moon and from the untitled poem that concludes chapter 27 of the Kingdom of God, as well as lines from Centuries of Meditations.

A Performance of the work was given on 10th October 2010 in the Lady chapel of Hereford Cathedral with the composer on instrumentals and Sara Hughes as the voice of utopia.
